Top Construction features a 1-1/8" high density 47 lbs solid core with high pressure laminate top and backer sheets glued to the board for an overall thickness of 1-1/4". The edges of the top are protected with a bull nose, vinyl T- mold and locked in place with pins placed through the T-mold from the underside of the top. Top Size is: 24 x 48". The Upper frame is formed of 1" x 2" rectangular steel. Painted and MIG welded throughout with a cross-brace forming an "H" design book box and leg support The nickel chrome plated leg inserts are made of 16 gauge rectangular steel, forming the "T" pedestal design. Adjustable from 22-29" in one inch increments. The Book Box measures 21.5" x16" x4" The Glides are silent, rubber cushioned, swivel of self-leveling, 1" minimum diameter, hard carbon steel with a nylon based type with a flat bottom and is chrome finished.
