Rectangle classroom tables are a common choice in schools. The design of the table is simple, a classic rectangular shape that seats more than one student at a time. The tables include four sturdy legs that prevent the table from wobbling and hold up the tabletop. The tables are specifically designed to seat more than one individual at a time and are large enough that each person has their own space. The rectangular activity tables encourage collaborative learning amongst students. Collaborative learning is beneficial to students as it fosters open discussions and expands academic opportunities, according to North Dakota State University. Let us help you find the perfect rectangle tables for your classroom today.

Rectangular Activity Tables

We carry the following rectangular activity tables:

  • Dry Erase- The tabletop is finished with a dry-erase board, which allows individuals to write on the table without worrying about ruining it.
  • Mobile- Tables on wheels with a full locking mechanism allowing you to move them around the room and then secure into place.
  • Slim- A long, thin table design. Able to fit three students on one side. Provides less tabletop space.
  • Adjustable- An adjustable system allows the tabletop to be raised and lowered to fit the height of the students.

Rectangle Tables for Flexible Classroom Layouts

Rectangle tables are versatile and can be arranged in countless ways. We recommend using the tables for:

  • Every Day Seating- Utilize the tables as student desks, by placing two to four students at a table at a time. Tables can be organized in a way that each student can see the front of the classroom. The tables make it easy to rearrange the room as they are easy to move, and the rectangular shape is easy to work with. Consider putting two tables together to make a large group seating arrangement.
  • Small Groups- Use one or two tables as designated small group tables. This is a space where teachers can work one-on-one with a student or in a small group. This allows teachers to check in on their students and assist them when needed. The table can be on the side or in the back of the room and can easily be pushed against the wall to save space.
