The frame is constructed of two parallel 18 gauge 1" thick tubes that are welded together beneath the seat. The U-shaped back is contoured carefully to ensure maximum screw engagement and strength, while providing comfortable support. The frame is contoured to fit the shape of the Melsur™ solid plastic seat. This seat is stain and wear resistant, as well as self-extinguishing, and features a waterfall edge for seating comfort. The seats and backs are attached with steel rivets under the plastic for no hardware exposure.
