Music Staff Dry Erase Boards

Music staff whiteboards are specially designed dry-erase boards with groups of five black lines, known as a staff, that act as the music note holder. Music is introduced to children at an early stage, often as newborns. Schools begin incorporating this important class in elementary-aged classes and continue through high school. Research shows that music classes are beneficial as they strengthen your brain and help manage anxiety, according to the Merit School of Music. Let us fill your music classroom with the furniture you need to help your students grow!

What Music Whiteboards Do We Offer?

At Today’s Classroom, we carry different music staff whiteboards for teachers to choose from, including:

  • Wall-Mounted Music Staff Whiteboard - Easy to install and can be hung at any height. Available in different sizes (4’x6’ or 4’x8’). Includes all mounting hardware.
  • Reversible Music Staff Dry-Erase Board - A whiteboard that flips, allowing for double the amount of writing space.
  • Mobile (on wheels) Music Staff Whiteboard - Attached to a strong metal base, complete with 4 casters or wheels that allow the board to be moved easily and lock securely when not being moved.
  • Music Staff Whiteboard With Tray - Easily store your whiteboard markers and erasers on the convenient tray that sits under the board.
  • Music Staff Dry-Erase Boards with 4 or 5 rows - The boards are available with 4 or 5 rows of staff lines, depending on your preference.

The black staff lines on our dry-erase boards are permanently printed, meaning you can continuously write on and erase the board, and the lines will stay. You also have the option to purchase the boards with a magnetic feature, allowing teachers and students to display information on the board using magnets.

How to Choose the Best Music Staff Whiteboard for Your Classroom?

Before purchasing your new music staff dry-erase board, keep the following in mind:

  • Classroom space - The amount of space you have in your classroom will determine which type of board is best for you.
    • Classrooms with a lot of desks or little walking space would benefit from wall-mounted whiteboards.
    • Whiteboards on wheels are a better option for those who have a large, open classroom or space.
  • Classes - If you teach different levels of music classes, the reversible board allows you to pre-write information and simply flip the board between classes.
  • Student age -
    • For elementary students, wall-mounted music staff whiteboards with 4 sets of staff lines are a great option, as the lines are more spaced out for young learners to clearly see.
    • Older students can use boards with 5 staff lines. This lets the teacher write more notes at a time and is a smaller display that older students can handle.

At Today’s Classroom, we want to help you fill your music room with everything your students need to be successful. Browse our collection of other music furniture, including different styles of music rugs, stackable music chairs, and music stands.
