Unlike the majority of light tables, this one features a removable light panel. When the panel is removed, the opening can be covered with the included lid. The lid creates a usable surface for continued play. One side of the lid features a construction brick top, the other is flat. When the lid is not being used, children can remove it and use the construction brick side anywhere they please! To keep spaces tidy, the lid slides neatly into the built-in storage shelf.
