School Chalkboards

Chalkboards were one of the first visual aids created and implemented into schools and classrooms. It is a large space that can be written on with chalk. They are easy to clean as the chalk wipes off with a chalkboard eraser or towel. For a deeper cleaning, a damp rag can be wiped across the surface, and that's it! These easy-to-clean boards have allowed teachers to easily present information to their students for years. They are now becoming more popular within early childhood classrooms during art and dramatic play time. 

Style

A classroom chalkboard is used constantly during the school day by both teachers and students. Porcelain chalkboards provide a smooth and durable writing surface. They are also easy to clean and do not leave streaks or chalk residue after cleaning. The boards come in a classic green matte finish or in a modern black matte finish. Features 

Much like a dry-erase board, chalkboards can be magnetized. This allows the chalkboards to have a dual purpose of being a writing surface and a place to display work and assignments. The boards also include a chalk tray to store chalk and a map rail used to hang or display helpful posters or visual aids.
