Wooden Mallet WD17-21 Fold-Away Wall Desk is perfect for doctor's offices, patient rooms, libraries, mailrooms, dorm rooms -- anywhere you need convenient, compact desk space. Braking slides have been inserted for a soft opening and gives support while not letting the front panel slam down. Magnetic catch ensures that the desk will stay closed when accidentally bumped. All wall desks are constructed with a 5/8" thick front panel and sides. The 21" x 17" writing surface extends to 20 ¼" from the wall when open and supports a distributed weight of 20 lbs. Each desk is outfitted with a useful pocket and pen holder inside. Shallow closed depth means that these desks are ADA compliant when placed in passage ways. These desks can be mounted at chair or standing height, but must be mounted to studs in the wall. Heavy duty mounting hardware is included. Available in Oak or Mahogany.
