A purpose-built desk for Early Childhood teachers! Part of our Whitney Brothers® Teacher's Collection, this double pedestal desk features a generous work surface of 26"D x 57.75"W with a grommet that neatly accommodates computer cables, phone line and power cords. The left pedestal includes drawer glides for two shallow, one medium and one large Gratnell trays [all included]. The right pedestal features an adjustable internal shelf and grommet located in a discrete location; an exterior mounted locking door on two sturdy European soft-close hinges for safety; and an adjustable shelf that provides ample storage space for a computer, electronics or valuables that need to be secured under lock and key. A center modesty panel completes the finished look. Mounted on four heavy duty non-marking lockable 2-inch casters. Constructed with no visible external screws or joinery for a fine finished furniture look in durable birch plywood and safe, non-toxic natural UV finish that won't yellow and withstands rigorous use.
