Constructed of a 16 gauge 1-1/8" tube steel frame with 16 gauge steel undercarriage. The book basket is constructed of a 1/4" steel rod, which is welded to the frame at four points.

Capitol's chroming process produces a nickel/chrome finish that is 25%-50% thicker than the industry standard. This allows for a more attractive and durable finish.

The one-piece shell is injection molded from special high impact, blush resistant polypropylene plastic with an antistatic additive. It is ergonomically designed for comfort and durability. There is no need for a support bar in the back.
