The key to a listening center is the jackbox, the distribution point from the audio source to the headphones. The jackbox enables an individual or small group of students to listen to content without disrupting others. At the same time, this also makes it an ideal tool for individual or small group differentiated learning, literacy, story-time and language learning applications.

Fun and engaging means a richer learning experience and our series of mini jackboxes come in silver, blue, red and yellow colors. Each jackbox accommodates up to four students with stereo headphones plugged into their 3.5mm jacks. An additional 3.5mm jack is located in the center where an included 6' detachable patch cord with a 3.5mm plug connects to the audio source such as a computer, smartphone or tablet for mobile learning applications, or a multimedia player.

Built with rugged ABS plastic housing for durability and safety, each jackbox has silver-plated contact points for a solid connection and moisture resistance, skid-resistant pads at each corner so they won't mar or scrape a surface, and individual volume controls for customizing audio for all students.

Out-of-warranty items may be returned for service and repair for a flat fee. Califone reserves the right to charge an additional fee for products with extensive physical damage, however we will not proceed with service without your authorization.
